Open Dialogue Across Generations and Perspectives
The Safety Evaluation Forum was established in 1986 as a workshop under the Japanese Society of Toxicological Sciences (now known as the Japanese Society of Toxicology). Over the past three decades, it has evolved into a platform for toxicology researchers to engage in discussions and exchange opinions across generations and professional boundaries, building on a wealth of case studies based on practical toxicological evaluation experiences. Even today, the Forum proactively provides opportunities for sharing diverse experiences and perspectives that cannot be obtained solely within individual organizations or research laboratories.
