The Safety Evaluation Forum aims to foster toxicology researchers and provide a broad platform for the exchange of opinions based on the motto of give and take, thereby contributing to the sound development of research and development of pharmaceuticals and other products. This Code of Ethics serves as the fundamental ethical guidelines for members of the Forum to achieve its objectives.

Members shall contribute to society through the advancement of life sciences based on toxicology research, the evaluation of the impact of pharmaceuticals and other products on humans and the environment, and their development.

Members shall strive to acquire and maintain the latest knowledge and techniques in their field and related areas, engaging in lifelong learning.

Members shall conduct academic research in accordance with scientific principles, promoting animal welfare and adhering to the principles of the Helsinki Declaration.

Members shall comply with social norms, laws, and relevant regulations in the conduct of academic research and presentations.

Members shall avoid conflicts of interest when engaging in academic presentations, publishing papers, educational activities, and various activities of the Forum, and shall disclose information if conflicts of interest arise to ensure fairness and transparency.
